The National Community Attitudes Towards Violence against Women Survey (NCAS) is the world’s longest-running population-level survey of community attitudes towards violence against women.

The NCAS provides data on Australians’ understanding of violence against women, their attitudes towards it, and whether there has been change over time. The NCAS also gauges attitudes towards gender inequality and people’s willingness to intervene when witnessing abuse or disrespect towards women.
